 Passing out Mother's Day flowers at the nursing home. |
This past Mother's Day was a special day at North Hills. The Sabbath School classes participated in several ways, including passing out flowers. A lovely carnation was bestowed upon every "mom" in attendance.
As there were flowers left over after the church service, Promila and her daughter took them to a local nursing home and passed them out. Promila, who has been appointed the new Royal Pilgrimage Leader for KidZ Kingdom, reports that the ladies were delighted to receive the flowers. She says that afterward she asked her daughter about the reaction they received from the ladies. "She said that they were so happy to get the flower and that made her feel good. She even said that it would be something that she would enjoy doing again."
