Weekend Service Teams

Worship Team Ministry Purpose: The North Hills Praise Team love music and love being able to express our love for Christ through our instruments & voices. Our focus is first of all on God and loving him, and on living lives that bring honor and glory to his name. Second, we are members of his family and are here to minister to each other and to the church. We want to minister to you and allow you the opportunity to minister to others as a part of our family. Getting Involved: The first step to becoming a part of the Praise Team is to email Pastor Terry and let him know you’re interested. We’ll give you more information about the next weeknight practice and worship service schedule. Second, come attend a weeknight practice. You’ll have an opportunity to meet the members of the praise team and experience what it’s like to be a part of the group. This is a great opportunity to work with the praise team without the pressure of having to prepare for a worship service. Technical Team Ministry Purpose: To use the creative talents God has given us to share the message of the Gospel through all forms of media and to provide technical support to all ministries of North Hills Church. We’ll give you more information about the next weeknight practice and worship service schedule. The weeknight practice is a good no pressure time where you can come and learn about the various tools we use to produce our weekend services and special events. Hospitality Team Ministry Purpose: The purpose is to provide a friendly, engaging yet comfortable environment for our guests and church family to encounter the reality of God. The goal is to ensure a positive guest experience through friendly assistance before, during and following the services. Getting Involved: The first step to becoming a part of the Hospitality Team is to email Gaby Hoffman and let her know you’re interested. She will give you more information about how to join the Hospitality team and schedules. Greeting Team Ministry Purpose: The Greeting Team is part of the Hospitality Team and first face of North Hills that most people see. The Greeting Team connects with people by making them feel welcomed as they enter the church and by directing people to specific areas. Members of this team are stationed along the entryway to the auditorium. Greeting Team Members outwardly show their excitement when greeting by offering words of encouragement, humor, and hospitality. The Greeting Team members are responsible for greeting both before the 9:45 am Bible Study and the 11:00 am Worship Service. They arrive 15 minutes prior to the Bible Study time to prepare for the arrival of our guests. The Greeting Team's goal is to welcome every single person who walks through the door with a warm handshake and to make sure that guests are directed to the appropriate areas.
